A video of intoxicated youths claiming to be related to DMK MP Kanimozhi's personal assistant and threatening police during a vehicle check in Coimbatore has gone viral on social media.



Coimbatore: A video of youth claiming to be related to DMK MP Kanimozhi's personal assistant and threatening police officers during a vehicle check in Coimbatore has gone viral on social media platforms.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night (October 1) when police were conducting a routine vehicle check on the 100 Feet Road in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore. During the inspection, officers stopped a group of young men for questioning.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the youths were under the influence of alcohol. In an attempt to intimidate the police officers, one of the intoxicated individuals claimed to be the brother of Kanimozhi's personal assistant.

The video of this confrontation has since been circulating widely on various social media platforms, drawing attention to the misuse of political connections and the behavior of some youth under the influence of alcohol.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the incident or any actions taken against the individuals involved in the altercation.
