BSNL employees in Coimbatore held a rally at Race Course area to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the telecom company's establishment on October 1, marking BSNL Day.

Coimbatore: Hundreds of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) employees took to the streets of Coimbatore on Sunday, participating in a colorful rally to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the telecom giant's establishment.

The event, coinciding with BSNL Day observed annually on October 1, saw enthusiastic participation from staff members across various departments.

The rally, which took place in the bustling Race Course area of Coimbatore, was part of nationwide celebrations organized by BSNL to mark its silver jubilee. Employees marched through the streets, carrying balloons and banners that highlighted BSNL's services and achievements over the past quarter-century.

As they paraded through the area, the BSNL staff members drew attention to the company's longstanding commitment to providing telecommunication services across India. The procession served not only as a celebration but also as a public demonstration of the company's presence and significance in the telecom sector.

The event in Coimbatore mirrored similar celebrations happening across the country, where BSNL employees participated in various programs to mark this milestone. The nationwide observance of BSNL Day underscores the company's role as a major player in India's telecommunications landscape since its inception in 2000.

This public display of unity and pride among BSNL employees in Coimbatore reflects the company's efforts to reinforce its brand image and connect with the local community. As BSNL continues to adapt to the evolving telecom market, such events serve to remind the public of the company's enduring presence and its contributions to India's communication infrastructure.
