DMK Supporters Celebrate Former Minister Senthil Balaji's Bail Release Near Mettupalayam

DMK members in Coimbatore district burst crackers and distributed sweets to celebrate former minister Senthil Balaji's bail release after 471 days in custody. Celebrations were held in various parts of Karamadai East Union.


Coimbatore: DMK supporters in Coimbatore district celebrated the bail release of former minister Senthil Balaji by bursting crackers and distributing sweets in various parts of Karamadai East Union. The celebrations came after the Supreme Court granted bail to Senthil Balaji, who had been in custody for 471 days.



In South Tirupathi Four Road area near Mettupalayam, party workers and functionaries led by Karamadai East Union Secretary S.M.T. Kalyanasundaram burst crackers and distributed sweets. Similar celebrations were held at Pallapalayam Panchayat Four Road area under the leadership of Panchayat President Press Sivakumar and in the presence of Vice President Surendran.

S.M.T. Kalyanasundaram, Karamadai East Union Secretary, and Kavitha Kalyanasundaram, member of Coimbatore District Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Board, distributed sweets to the public, expressing their joy over Balaji's release.



In Mettupalayam town, DMK members led by Town Secretaries Munusamy and Mohamed Yunus, and in the presence of former MLA P. Arunkumar, garlanded the Anna statue near the bus stand.



They also burst crackers and distributed sweets to the public as part of the celebrations.



The Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to Senthil Balaji on September 26 sparked these celebrations across various parts of Coimbatore district, with DMK members expressing their happiness over their leader's release.
