Pollachi Municipality conducts weekly grievance redressal camp on Tuesdays. Municipal Chairperson Shyamala Navaneetha Krishnan led the recent meeting, addressing public concerns directly.

Coimbatore: The Pollachi Municipality has been consistently organizing a weekly grievance redressal camp every Tuesday at the municipal office, providing a platform for the public to voice their concerns and seek solutions.

As part of this initiative, a public grievance redressal meeting was held today (Sept. 24) under the leadership of Municipal Chairperson Shyamala Navaneetha Krishnan. The event saw active participation from municipal officials and local residents.

Municipal Commissioner Ganesan and other municipal officials were present at the camp, directly receiving petitions from the public. This face-to-face interaction allowed citizens to present their issues and grievances without intermediaries.

Following the collection of petitions, the Chairperson instructed the concerned department officials to take necessary actions to resolve the public's issues. This proactive approach aims to ensure that the grievances are addressed promptly and effectively.

The weekly grievance redressal camp is a significant step towards improving local governance and fostering a direct connection between the municipal administration and the residents of Pollachi. It demonstrates the municipality's commitment to addressing public concerns and enhancing the quality of life in the area.
