Coimbatore: In a heartwarming gesture, a Coimbatore-based employer has won widespread acclaim for fulfilling his childhood promise by flying his employees on a memorable trip. Prakash Devarajan, who runs Priya Catering in the Peelamedu area, recently took 26 of his workers on a flight from Kochi to Salem, followed by a two-day tour in Alappuzha, Kerala.

Prakash's mother, Lakshmi Rajan, founded Priya Catering, which currently employs over 26 workers. The company has been known for its close-knit relationship with its employees, a tradition that Prakash has continued.

One of the employees, Sarojini, shared a touching anecdote about Prakash's childhood dream. She recalled, "When Prakash was a young boy, we casually asked him what he wanted to do when he grew up. He said he would take all of us on a plane ride. We laughed it off then, but after nearly 35 years, he has fulfilled that promise. We are extremely happy."

The trip included not just the flight experience but also a two-day tour in Alappuzha, featuring boat rides and other tourist activities. The employees and their families were part of this all-expenses-paid vacation, making it a truly memorable experience for them.

This gesture by Prakash Devarajan has garnered widespread appreciation on social media and in the local community. Many are hailing it as an example of excellent employer-employee relationships and a demonstration of fulfilling long-held promises.

The story has struck a chord with many, highlighting the importance of treating employees with respect and care. It also serves as a reminder of the impact that thoughtful gestures can have on workers' morale and loyalty.

As news of this generous act spreads, Prakash Devarajan continues to receive congratulations and well-wishes from various quarters, with many praising his commitment to his employees' happiness and well-being.
