Coimbatore Collector Sets June 30 Deadline for Clearing Outstanding Dues to Tamil Nadu Housing Board

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati announces June 30 as the final date for 177 allottees to clear outstanding dues to Tamil Nadu Housing Board. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of allotment orders without prior notice.

Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has issued a crucial announcement regarding outstanding dues to the Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) in Coimbatore. The notice pertains to 177 allottees of plots in various areas under the Coimbatore Housing Unit, including Ganapathy, Vellakkinaru, Periyanaickenpalayam, Veerkeralam, Kalapatti, and Muthalipalayam.

Despite the expiration of the payment period as per board regulations and multiple announcements of government interest waiver schemes, many allottees have failed to clear their pending amounts. In light of this, the Collector has urged all allottees to visit the Coimbatore Housing Unit office in person by June 30.

Allottees are instructed to bring their original application, allotment order, original receipts, and other relevant original documents. They are required to reconcile their accounts and pay the outstanding amount to obtain their sale deed within the stipulated deadline.

The Collector has warned that failure to comply with this directive will result in the cancellation of allotment orders without any prior notice. This stern measure aims to address the long-standing issue of unpaid dues and ensure compliance with TNHB regulations.

The announcement serves as a final opportunity for the defaulting allottees to regularize their status and secure their property rights. It also underscores the government's commitment to maintaining financial discipline in housing schemes and recovering pending payments.
