Coimbatore: Residents near the Columbus Bus Stand in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore, have raised concerns about the increasing stray dog population in the area. The large number of stray dogs roaming the streets has become a significant issue for both pedestrians and motorists.

Vehicle drivers using the roads in this area are facing considerable difficulties due to the presence of these stray dogs. There is also a growing fear among residents about the potential risk of accidents caused by these animals.

In response to this situation, local residents have put forward a request to the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation on September 14. They have urged the corporation employees to catch the stray dogs in the area and conduct sterilization procedures to control their population.

The residents hope that prompt action from the municipal authorities will help address this issue and ensure the safety of the public in the Ramanathapuram area.
