BJP Tamil Nadu State President Annamalai K apologizes for party functionaries sharing a private conversation between Annapoorna Restaurant chain owner and the Finance Minister, expressing regret for the unintended privacy breach.


Coimbatore: BJP Tamil Nadu State President Annamalai K has issued a public apology on behalf of the party for a privacy breach involving a respected business owner in the state. The incident occurred when party functionaries shared a private conversation between the owner of the Annapoorna chain of restaurants and the Honorable Finance Minister.

In a statement, Annamalai K said, "On behalf of BJP4TamilNadu, I sincerely apologise for the actions of our functionaries who shared a private conversation between a respected business owner and our Hon. FM."

The BJP State President personally reached out to Thiru Srinivasan, the esteemed owner of the Annapoorna chain of Restaurants, to express regret for the unintended breach of privacy. Annamalai K emphasized the significance of Annapoorna Srinivasan in Tamil Nadu's business landscape, stating, "Annapoorna Srinivasan Anna is a pillar of Tamil Nadu's business community, contributing significantly to the state's and nation's economic growth."

Recognizing the sensitivity of the situation, Annamalai K has requested everyone to lay the matter to rest with due respect. This incident highlights the importance of maintaining privacy in communications between business leaders and government officials, especially in matters that may be of a sensitive nature.
