Tirupur: The Hindu Munnani organization conducted a grand Mulaippari procession in celebration of Vinayagar Chaturthi in Palladam, Tirupur district. The event saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of local residents.



The festivities took place near the TKT Mill area in Palladam, where the Hindu Munnani had installed a Vinayagar idol for special prayers. As part of the celebrations, more than 50 women from the locality gathered to perform the traditional Kummi dance, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the occasion.



The highlight of the event was the Mulaippari procession, which was led by TKT Raja, the city general secretary of Hindu Munnani. A significant number of people joined the procession, carrying the Mulaippari offerings. The procession began at the TKT Mill area and concluded at the Vinayagar idol installation site near Murugan Mill, covering a considerable distance through the locality.

The Hindu Munnani members were praised for their efficient organization of the event, which successfully blended religious devotion with cultural celebrations. The procession not only served as a display of faith but also fostered a sense of community among the participants, making it a memorable Vinayagar Chaturthi celebration for the residents of Palladam.
