Teachers' Day Celebration at CCMA Government Girls School in Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner Participates

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran attended the Teachers' Day celebration at CCMA Government Girls Higher Secondary School, organized by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Elite on September 5.



Coimbatore: The CCMA Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore's Raja Street area witnessed a grand Teachers' Day celebration on September 5, organized by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Elite. Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran graced the event as the chief guest, accompanied by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Elite President Manigandan and Secretary Senthil Velan.

Commissioner Sivaguru Prabakaran received an enthusiastic welcome from students representing the Junior Red Cross, Tamil Nadu Scouts, and the Environmental Club. In his address, Prabhakaran shared personal anecdotes, revealing that he still carries a photograph of his teacher in his pocket and stated himself a teacher as well.



"Teachers are the cornerstone of our lives, and we must always remember and honor them," said Prabhakaran. He emphasized the significant role his own teachers played in his success. The Commissioner then extended his Teachers' Day wishes to all educators present at the event.

Following his speech, Prabakaran felicitated students who scored high marks in the state board examinations for the 2023-24 academic year. He presented awards and certificates to both current and retiring teachers, recognizing their dedication and service.



The celebration continued with a cultural extravaganza featuring performances by students, including Bharatanatyam, drama, and musical presentations. The event showcased the diverse talents of the school's students and highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities in education.
