Power Outage Announced for Tomorrow in Saravanampatti and Surrounding Areas

Scheduled maintenance at Saravanampatti substation will result in power cut from 9 AM to 5 PM on September 5, affecting multiple areas in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a power outage for tomorrow (September 5) due to scheduled monthly maintenance work at the Saravanampatti substation. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 5 PM, affecting several areas in and around Saravanampatti.

The areas that will experience the power outage include Saravanampatti, Amman Kovil, Chinnvedampatti, Krishnapuram, Sivanandapuram, Vellakinaru, Urumandampalayam, Goundar Mill, Subramaniyapalayam, KNG Pudur, and parts of Maniyakaranpalayam. Additionally, Lakshmi Nagar, Natchimuthu Nagar, Jayaprakash Nagar, Ganapatipudur, Udayampalayam, and Vellakinaru Housing Unit will also be affected.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions for the eight-hour power interruption. The TNEB has stated that the maintenance work is essential to ensure the continued reliability and efficiency of the power distribution network in the region.
