ICT Academy Honors Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami with Education Change Maker Award

Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami received the Education Change Maker Award from ICT Academy at Bridge24 event in Coimbatore on August 20, 2024. The award recognizes her significant contributions to education.


Coimbatore: Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami, Vice Chairman of KMCH and Secretary of Dr. NGP Educational Institutions, has been honored with the Education Change Maker Award by ICT Academy. The award was presented at the Bridge24 event held on August 20, 2024, at Hotel Le Meridien, Coimbatore.

Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Minister for Information Technology & Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, presented the award to Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami in recognition of her outstanding contributions and significant impact in the field of education.

Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami, a renowned pediatrician and adolescent care specialist, founded the Dr. NGP Research and Educational Trust in 1990. Under her leadership, the trust has evolved into a reputed educational organization in the region, operating 10 educational institutions across various fields including Health Sciences, Arts & Science, Engineering & Technology, Teacher Education, and a CBSE-affiliated school.

The Bridge24 event, organized by ICT Academy under the auspices of the Information Technology and Digital Services Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, served as a platform for policymakers, industry leaders, and academic leaders to explore strategies for developing Gen Z for the future of work.

Upon receiving the award, Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami expressed her happiness and stated that this recognition would inspire her to consistently improve the quality of education. Her vast experience in healthcare has motivated her to establish educational institutions with world-class infrastructure and facilities.
