Coimbatore: The recently released Domestic City Pair Data for FY Q1 (April-June) 2024 highlights Coimbatore's growing importance in India's domestic aviation sector. The data provides a detailed analysis of passenger and freight movements between Coimbatore and key Indian cities.

According to the data, Chennai emerged as the top city pair for Coimbatore, with a total of 224,192 passengers traveling between the two cities. Following closely were Mumbai with 194,705 passengers and Bengaluru with 91,720 passengers. These figures underscore the strong demand for air travel between Coimbatore and these major metropolitan cities.
