DMK Pollachi Town Leaders Pay Tribute to Kalaignar Statue in Kaniyur, Coimbatore

DMK Pollachi town leaders and members paid floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Kalaignar in Kaniyur, Coimbatore South district. The event saw participation from various party functionaries and local representatives.


Coimbatore: DMK leaders and members from Pollachi town paid their respects to the statue of Muthamizh Arignar Dr. Kalaignar, erected by Coimbatore South District Secretary Thalapathi Murugesan in Kaniyur. The tribute was led by Pollachi Town Secretary Navaneethakrishnan and Pollachi Municipal Chairperson Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan.

The delegation garlanded the statue and offered floral tributes to the late DMK patriarch. The event saw participation from a wide range of party functionaries, including town executives, ward secretaries, affiliated wing leaders, and municipal council members.



Among the notable attendees were town executives S. Dharmaraj, Nachimuthu, Fathima Akbar M.C, and Sweet Nagaraj M.C. Ward secretaries Venkidusamy, Kannan, Vijayakumar, Jagadeesan, Satheeshkumar, and Arumugam were also present.

Leaders and deputy leaders of affiliated wings, including Advocate Panchalingam, Karate Raja, Sanavas, Vijaya Gayathri M.C, and Saiju, participated in the event. Municipal council members Borewell Durai, Kavitha, and Balamurugan were among the local representatives in attendance.

The gathering also included prominent town party members such as VMK Nagaraj, Farook Bhai, PNR Ashwin, Pattalamanikandam, Photo Babu, Pollachi Masi, Manikandam, Dr. Sankar, Abubakar, Vigneshwaran, V.S. Subash, Udayasuriyan, Thalapathi Kumar, Thambu, Abbas, Prashanth, Saravana Pradeep, D. Naveen Kumar, Sajid Khan, Sugash Prabhu, Bommu, and Dheiva.

The large turnout of party members and their collective homage underscored the significance of the event and the continued reverence for Kalaignar within the DMK ranks in the Pollachi region.
