Sulur Municipality Receives Best Municipality Award, Officials Meet Coimbatore District Collector

Sulur Municipality officials presented the Best Municipality Award to Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati IAS on August 20, 2024. The award, including a cash prize of Rs. 20 lakhs, was received during the Independence Day celebrations in Chennai.


Coimbatore: The Sulur Municipality team, led by Chairperson Devi Mannavan, along with council members and the Executive Officer, met with Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati IAS at the District Collectorate on August 20, 2024. The officials presented the Best Municipality Award they had received and sought the Collector's congratulations.



The award for the Best Municipality in Tamil Nadu was presented to Sulur Municipality by the Chief Minister during the Independence Day celebrations held in Chennai last week. The recognition came with a cash prize of Rs. 20 lakhs and a certificate of appreciation.

The municipal officials took pride in showcasing their achievement to the District Collector, highlighting the efforts and initiatives that led to this prestigious recognition. The meeting served as an opportunity for the local body representatives to share their success and receive acknowledgment from the district administration.
