Tamil Nadu Forest Department Organizes Elephant Conservation Awareness Rally in Coimbatore

The Tamil Nadu Forest Department organized an elephant conservation awareness rally in Coimbatore on August 14, ahead of World Elephant Day. Hundreds of college students participated in the event held at the Tamil Nadu Forest Academy.


Coimbatore: In commemoration of World Elephant Day (August 12), the Tamil Nadu Forest Department organized an elephant conservation awareness rally today (August 14) at the Tamil Nadu Forest Academy in Vadakovai. Hundreds of college students participated in this rally, demonstrating their commitment to wildlife conservation.



The rally was conducted to ensure the protection of Asian elephants and safeguard their future. By involving college students in this event, the Tamil Nadu Forest Department is actively working to bring awareness about elephant conservation to the younger generation.
