New Inspector Takes Charge at Udumalpet Police Station

Inspector Gopalakrishnan assumed charge as the new Inspector of Udumalpet Police Station in Tiruppur district, replacing Inspector Jeevanandham who was transferred to Kotagiri.


Coimbatore: Inspector Gopalakrishnan officially took charge as the new Inspector of Udumalpet Police Station in Tiruppur district on Monday night. He replaces Inspector Jeevanandham, who has been transferred to the Kotagiri Taluk Police Station.

Prior to this appointment, Inspector Gopalakrishnan was serving at the Kamanayakkanpalayam Police Station near Palladam. The formal handover ceremony took place at the Udumalpet Police Station, where fellow police officers congratulated Gopalakrishnan on his new role.

The transfer of Inspector Jeevanandham and the subsequent appointment of Inspector Gopalakrishnan are part of the routine administrative changes within the police department. Such transfers are aimed at ensuring efficient functioning of police stations across different regions.

Inspector Gopalakrishnan is expected to continue the ongoing law enforcement efforts in the Udumalpet area, focusing on maintaining public safety and addressing local concerns.
