22nd NIT Show Exhibition Inaugurated in Tirupur with 400 Stalls

The 22nd NIT Show, a textile technology machinery exhibition, opened in Tirupur featuring over 400 stalls. International textile machinery manufacturers from various countries are participating in this three-day event.



Tirupur: The 22nd annual NIT Show, a textile technology machinery exhibition, kicked off at the Top Light Ground on Kangeyam Road in Tirupur. The three-day exhibition features more than 400 stalls showcasing the latest in textile machinery and technology.



International textile machinery manufacturers from countries including the United States, Australia, England, China, and Japan are participating in this event. The exhibition has attracted significant attention from industry professionals and textile entrepreneurs.



A highlight of the show is the introduction of an advanced digital printing machine manufactured in India. This machine is touted to be environmentally friendly, causing minimal pollution. Another notable exhibit is a printing machine from Japan, capable of printing 350 banians (vests) in just one hour. These two machines have garnered considerable interest from visitors.



Speaking to reporters, Subramanian, the President of the Tiruppur Exporters Association, stated, "All the machinery necessary for the knitwear industry is displayed under one roof. The equipment showcased here is designed to take workers and industrialists to the next level of progress." He also mentioned that they have requested the Minister and District Collector to establish a permanent venue for such exhibitions in Tiruppur. Subramanian expressed optimism that a permanent exhibition hall for the industry would be set up in Tiruppur within two years.

The event saw participation from knitwear industry representatives from various cities including Tiruppur, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The NIT Show continues to be a significant platform for the textile industry to showcase innovations and foster business connections.
