Cement Mixture and Divider Stones on Sulur LIC Office Road Fixed After Complaint

Cement mixture and improperly placed divider stones on Sulur LIC Office Road, causing accidents, were fixed by State Highways Department officials following a complaint to the District Collector.


Coimbatore: The Sulur LIC Office Road in Coimbatore district had been a cause for concern due to cement mixtures dumped on the road and improperly placed divider stones, leading to frequent accidents. The situation was particularly problematic near the Sulur Tahsildar's office, where the divider stones were not properly aligned, causing traffic issues.



Responding to complaints filed with the District Collector, officials from the State Highways Department visited the site today. They cleared the cement mixtures that had been dumped on the road and rectified the placement of the divider stones, addressing the safety concerns raised by local residents.



The Hindustan Makkal Seva Iyakkam and the general public have expressed their gratitude to the State Highways Department officials for their prompt action in resolving this issue. The timely intervention is expected to significantly reduce the risk of accidents and improve traffic flow in the area.
