Political leaders come together at book launch event in Coimbatore

BJP State President Annamalai and Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman embraced at a book launch in Coimbatore. Former AIADMK ministers greeted Annamalai, showcasing a rare moment of political camaraderie.


Coimbatore: A book launch event in Coimbatore turned into a platform for political bonhomie as leaders from various parties came together, setting aside their differences. The event, held at Le Meridien Hotel, saw the release of the book 'GUTS' authored by Dr. Palanivel, chairman of GEM Hospital.

The event was graced by political heavyweights including School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, former AIADMK ministers S.P. Velumani, Sengottaiyan, Thangamani, and Kamaraj, BJP State President Annamalai, Pattali Makkal Katchi leader Anbumani Ramadoss, and Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman. Prominent doctors and industrialists from Coimbatore also attended the function.



As the event commenced, BJP State President Annamalai spoke about Dr. Palanivel. After his speech, Annamalai descended from the stage and embraced Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman, who was seated in the front row, exchanging greetings. Following this, Seeman and Anbumani Ramadoss spoke about the author's life journey.

The atmosphere turned interesting when former AIADMK ministers arrived together at the venue. They greeted Annamalai, who was seated in the front row, with former minister Thangamani shaking hands with him while others offered respectful greetings. Seats were arranged for the former ministers in front of Annamalai.

Shortly after, Annamalai left the event. The book launch ceremony continued with Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and Tata Group Chairman N. Chandrasekaran officially releasing the book. The event was notable for bringing together key functionaries from various political parties, showcasing a rare moment of unity in the diverse political landscape of Tamil Nadu.
