Four Coimbatore Corporation Health Officers Transferred to Madurai and Tiruppur Corporations

Tamil Nadu Municipal Administration Department transfers 17 health officers across various corporations. Four from Coimbatore Corporation moved to Madurai and Tiruppur, with four others appointed in their place.


Coimbatore: In a recent administrative shuffle, the Tamil Nadu Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department has issued transfer orders for 17 health officers working in various corporations across the state. The order, dated July 24, was issued by the department's Principal Secretary Karthikeyan.

As per the order, four health officers from the Coimbatore Corporation have been transferred to other municipal corporations. Health officers Ramachandran and Thirumal have been moved to Madurai Corporation, while health officers Paramasivam and Radhakrishnan have been transferred to Tiruppur Corporation.

To fill the vacancies created by these transfers, four health officers have been appointed to the Coimbatore Corporation. Veeran and Vijayakumar from Madurai Corporation, and Rajendran and Murugan from Tiruppur Corporation have been assigned to take up their new roles in Coimbatore.

This reshuffle is part of the first phase of transfers among health officers serving in municipal corporations under the Tamil Nadu Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department. The move is expected to bring fresh perspectives and experiences to the respective corporations, potentially enhancing the efficiency of health-related services in these urban local bodies.
