Special Gram Sabha Meeting Held at Marudur Panchayat Office for Kalaignar Kanavu Illam Scheme

A special Gram Sabha meeting was conducted at Marudur Panchayat office on July 22 to select beneficiaries for the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme, as per Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati's directive.


Coimbatore: A special Gram Sabha meeting was held at the Marudur Panchayat office on Saturday, July 22, to select beneficiaries for the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam (Kalaignar's Dream Home) scheme. This meeting was part of a district-wide initiative ordered by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati to conduct special Gram Sabha meetings in all panchayats across the district.

The meeting at Marudur Panchayat was presided over by Panchayat President Poornima Rangarajan. More than 50 residents participated in the gathering, submitting applications to be considered for the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme.
