Ward 27 Councillor Inspects Garbage Cleaning Operations in Peelamedu, Coimbatore

On July 20, Ward 27 Councillor Ambika Dhanapal inspected garbage cleaning operations in Peelamedu area, including PSG Children's School and Duraisamy Layout. She directed sanitation workers to ensure thorough cleaning of roadside waste.


Coimbatore: In a proactive move to maintain cleanliness in Ward 27 of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal conducted an inspection of garbage cleaning operations on July 20.



The focus areas included the vicinity of PSG Children's School in Peelamedu and Duraisamy Layout.



Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally visited the sites to oversee the cleaning process. She instructed the sanitation workers to ensure that all roadside waste was thoroughly removed and the areas were left spotlessly clean. Ward Supervisor Maheshwari accompanied the Councillor during the inspection.



The inspection also extended to Peelamedu Jaganathapuram and Dispensary Road areas within Ward 27. Councillor Ambika Dhanapal checked whether the daily garbage collection vehicle was arriving regularly and monitored the ongoing cleaning of roadside waste.



She reiterated her instructions to the sanitation workers, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive cleaning of all roadside garbage.



This initiative by the Ward Councillor demonstrates the local administration's commitment to maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in residential areas. Regular inspections and direct communication with sanitation workers are expected to improve the efficiency of waste management in the ward.
