Coimbatore: The Forest Department has issued a warning to residents living near Thadagam area due to increased wild elephant movement during nighttime. The alert was specifically directed at the villages of Thadagam, Thanneer Panthal, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, and Kalaiyanur.

On July 17, forest officials used loudspeakers to caution the public about the heightened presence of wild elephants in these areas. The announcement emphasized the need for residents to remain vigilant, especially during the night hours when elephant activity has been observed to be more frequent.
