Coimbatore: A free medical camp was organized in Sankar Nagar, Mettupalayam, on the advice of Mettupalayam Municipal Commissioner R. Amudha. The event was a joint initiative by the Mettupalayam Municipality and Ramakrishna Math, Coimbatore, aimed at providing healthcare services to the local residents.

The medical camp was inaugurated by Mettupalayam Municipal Council Chairperson Mehriba Parveen Asaraf Ali and Vice Chairperson Arulvadivu Munusamy. Ward Councillor Sangeeta of Sankar Nagar area was also present at the event.

Swami Bhaktikamananda Maharaj, head of the Ramakrishna Math in Goundampalayam, Coimbatore, presided over the camp. The medical team, led by Swami Mahambikananda, included Dr. Nandakrishnan, Nurse Rani Palanisamy, and volunteers Dilip, Kannan, Kishore, Ajay, and Yuvanesh, who conducted the camp efficiently.
Professor Dr. M. Jaikumar, Head of the Computer Applications Department at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Arts and Science College, and Municipal Officer Jayaraman coordinated the arrangements for the medical camp.
