Coimbatore: Karpagam Academy of Higher Education celebrated its Students Induction Programme, 'Thulir 2024', on July 9, 2024. The event aimed to welcome new students and provide insights into their academic journey ahead.

Dr. N.V. Balaji, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event. Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, President of Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, presented the presidential address. In his speech, Dr. Vasanthakumar emphasized the crucial role of hard work for the younger generation, describing them as the pillars of the nation. He also highlighted India's significant progress in the technological field, attributing it to the contributions of young minds.



J. Sujith Kumar, AVP & HR Business Leader at Infosys Ltd and Founder & Managing Trustee of Maatram Foundation, delivered the keynote address.



Kumar stressed the importance of skill development for the current young generation, emphasizing that their unique abilities would help them excel in the global arena.

Prof. K. Ramasamy presented the Inaugural Address, advising students to consistently uphold human values throughout their lives. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. P. Thamilarasi, Dean of Student Affairs.
