Coimbatore: The Thudiyalur Electricity Board Executive Engineer Krishnamurthy has announced a scheduled power outage for tomorrow, June 8, due to monthly maintenance work at the Thudiyalur substation. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 4 PM, affecting several areas in and around Thudiyalur.
According to the press release issued on July 6, the following areas will experience a power outage: Vadamadurai, Thudiyalur, Aruna Nagar, VSK Nagar, VKV Nagar, NGGO Colony, Pannimadai, Thaliyur, and KNG Pudur, among others.
Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions for the seven-hour power interruption. The Electricity Board has stated that this maintenance work is essential to ensure the continued reliability and efficiency of the power supply in the region.
The authorities have requested the public's cooperation during this scheduled maintenance period. Normal power supply is expected to resume by 4 PM, barring any unforeseen circumstances or complications during the maintenance work.
