In Gandhinagar, Tirupur, a man was arrested for plotting the murder of his daughter’s alleged boyfriend, following threatening demands for money using a compromising video.
Tirupur: In a disturbing incident from AVP Layout near Tirupur, a father has been arrested for organizing the murder of a young man whom he believed was blackmailing his daughter. The victim, identified as Anbu, was reportedly in a relationship with a 14-year-old girl from the same area. Anbu, who had shown a private video of them together to a friend, Tamilrasan, was then blackmailed by Tamilrasan using the video. Tamilrasan had previously been interested in the young girl and was warned away by her father.
In a devastating turn of events, enraged by the continuous harassment and threat to his family, the girl’s father plotted with Tamilrasan to eliminate Anbu. As part of the plan, Anbu was lured under the pretense of making peace to a secluded area near AVP Layout where he was brutally attacked by a group of men, reportedly friends of Anbu, hiding in the bushes.
Anbu was mercilessly killed by the group using sharp weapons.
Following the attack, the police were informed, who then apprehended the girl’s father and are currently conducting further investigations. This case has shocked the local community and highlighted the pernicious effects of personal disputes escalating into fatal violence.
