Tamizhar Desam Party Holds Attention Seeking Protest in Coimbatore

Tamizhar Desam Party staged a protest in front of the South Tahsildar Office in Coimbatore on June 28, demanding full prohibition as per election promise, addressing illegal liquor sales and consequent fatalities.



Coimbatore: In a significant demonstration held today, the Tamizhar Desam Party conducted an attention-seeking protest in front of the South Tahsildar office in Coimbatore. Under the leadership of District Leader Murugesan, the demonstration aimed to rebuke the Tamil Nadu government. 

The party is urging for the implementation of full prohibition, in accordance with their election commitments. The protest aimed to address the escalating illegal sales of liquor and the resultant loss of lives. This move is part of Tamizhar Desam Party's ongoing efforts to fulfill their promises to the electorate and to pressure the government into taking prompt action against the illicit liquor menace.
