Minister Muthusamy Comments on AIADMK's Decision to Skip Vikravandi By-election

Minister Muthusamy claims that AIADMK's decision to skip the Vikravandi by-election was influenced by their inability to counteract Chief Minister Stalin's actions favoring the people.

Coimbatore: Speaking at Coimbatore Airport, Minister Muthusamy commented on the political maneuverings of AIADMK and their strategic decisions concerning state elections. According to Muthusamy, AIADMK refrained from contesting the Vikravandi by-election due to the formidable actions of Chief Minister Stalin, which resonated well with the public, making any challenge from AIADMK unfeasible.

Muthusamy emphasized Chief Minister Stalin’s diligent focus on problematic issues for the masses, which he addressed sincerely; this approach, Muthusamy argued, led to DMK's massive success in the recent parliamentary elections. He mentioned the humility of the Chief Minister who, when congratulated, directed the honors to the party workers, acknowledging their essential role in the DMK's victory.

The minister also highlighted the widespread belief among citizens that their confidence in Chief Minister Stalin's service would continue, contributing to future election successes. Discussing the upcoming electoral opportunities, he predicted significant victories for DMK, stating that their current performance would bolster their strength in the next two years, laying a solid foundation for the 2026 state elections.

He concluded with a critique of AIADMK's predictions of victory in the 2026 state elections, dismissing them as unlikely, and reinforcing the expectation for greater electoral achievements by DMK in the upcoming seasons.
