The attack happened on a bus carrying pilgrims from the Vaishno Devi temple towards the Shivagori cave, which was ambushed by terrorists allegedly supported by Pakistan, resulting in the death of 10 individuals including a child, with 33 others sustaining serious gunshot wounds.

The petition was submitted by Ravindran (Personal Assistant to the District Collector), along with the district secretary Satish, district organizer of the Cow Protection Group, Karthik, and the district organizer for Dharma Prasar. This submission is part of a nationwide protest by the organization, expressing their strong disapproval of the vile attack targeting peaceful spiritual travelers.

The Vishva Hindu Parishad has vigorously condemned this aggressive act and demanded increased security for pilgrims and stringent actions against the perpetrating groups. Such events highlight the continued jeopardy faced by pilgrims in conflict-prone areas and the pressing need for international cooperation to prevent these heinous crimes.
