Admissions Open for First-Year Students at Coimbatore Government Women's College

The general admissions process for first-year students began today at the Coimbatore Government Women's Arts and Science College, with interviews scheduled for various departments.


Coimbatore: The admissions process for entering the first academic year commenced today at the Coimbatore Government Women’s Arts and Science College. The Principal, Veeramani, announced that the interviews for enrollment have started, with specific dates set for various departments, including B.Com, B.Sc. Computer Science, Mathematics, B.A. English, and B.A. Tamil.



Today’s session inaugurated the interviews for the B.Com department, while interviews for the B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, and the B.A. in English will follow on the 12th, and B.A. in Tamil on the 14th.



The applicants are required to bring necessary documents, including original transfer certificates, two copies each of caste certificate, Plus 1 and 10th-grade mark sheets, Aadhaar card, and a passport-size photo. Admissions start at 9:30 AM, and students must ensure their presence on time. Only parents or guardians are permitted alongside the applicants. Fees must be paid upon admission to secure the enrollment immediately, as detailed by the college head, Veeramani.
