Over 100 students from various colleges joined DMK in North Coimbatore. The event was led by party leaders and included speeches on establishing student unions.
Coimbatore: In a significant event for the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in North Coimbatore, more than 100 college students from NGP College, Krishna College, Karpagam College, and KPR College have officially joined the party.

The joining ceremony was presided over by North Coimbatore’s DMK District Secretary Tho. A. Ravi, with the presence of North Coimbatore Student Wing Organizer Se. Anthoniraj.
The event witnessed the participation of Poovai C. Jerald, the state's student wing joint secretary, and V.G. Gokul, the state's student wing deputy secretary. They engaged with the students and discussed the importance of establishing effective student unions in colleges and the role students should play in collegiate activities.
The ceremony concluded with thanks given by the district student wing deputy organizer N. Sivakumar, who expressed his gratitude to all the attendees for joining the event and enriching the discussion.
