Coimbatore: In a notable incident at Chandigarh Airport, CISF officer Kulvinder Gaur confronted Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, slapping her for her derogatory remarks about farmers. Ranaut, who referred to protesting farmers as terrorists and derogated their activism, faced immediate retaliation from Gaur, whose mother has been actively involved in farmers' rights movements.




Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam recognized the valor and integrity of Kulvinder's mother, acknowledging her efforts by awarding Gaur a gold ring engraved with Periyar’s image. Secretary Ku. Ramakiruthinan of Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam stated that the acknowledgment serves to highlight the courage shown by those standing firmly for the state's welfare and farmers' rights.
