Volunteers in Coimbatore Invited to Participate in Conservation Efforts

The Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu, along with local volunteers, planted 5000 saplings in Pillaiyarpuram under Madukkarai range recently. Maintenance work is scheduled for June 9, 2024.


Coimbatore: In a significant environmental initiative, 5000 saplings were recently planted in Pillaiyarpuram under the Madukkarai range by the Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu and local volunteers. This effort is part of ongoing conservation measures to enhance green cover and ecological balance in the region.

The organization has announced a maintenance day on Sunday, June 9, 2024, to care for the newly planted saplings. This event aims to involve the community in sustaining the efforts made thus far. Volunteers passionate about environmental conservation are encouraged to participate.
