Coimbatore students won top positions at the International Yoga Competition held in Malaysia's Lincoln University on May 15. They met the District Collector today for felicitations.
Coimbatore: On May 15, Coimbatore students showcased their talents at an International Yoga Competition conducted at Lincoln University in Malaysia. Competitors from various countries participated, demonstrating high levels of skill and discipline.
Among the winners were five students from SSVM School of Coimbatore—Nikhilesh, Harish Karthi, Hari Sarvesh, Abhay, and Shashwat (who secured second place)—as well as one student from Hindusthan College, Gowtham, and Keerthi Rohan from Velammal Bodhi Campus. These students visited the office of the District Collector, Kranthi Kumar Pati, on June 6 to receive his congratulations on their achievement.
Furthermore, all the victorious candidates plan to participate in next year's Yoga Competition scheduled in Japan. This international recognition not only underlines their commitment to yoga but also serves as inspiration for their peers and the local community.
