SDPI Holds Protest in Coimbatore Condemning Israeli Actions in Palestine

SDPI organized a protest near Ukkadam Bus Stand in Coimbatore against Israeli attacks on Palestinians in Rafah, urging global intervention and sanctions against Israel.


Coimbatore: A sizeable protest was staged near Ukkadam Bus Stand in Coimbatore, orchestrated by the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), vocally condemning the ongoing Israeli military actions against Palestinians in Rafah.



Abdul Rahim, the Deputy District Leader of SDPI, spearheaded the event, which saw a robust turnout, including SDPI State Speaker V.M. Abuthahir, who delivered a compelling condemnation speech.



In a fervent plea to the global community, the SDPI expressed strong disapproval of the Israeli forces' alleged war crimes and urged for immediate international intervention to shield innocent Palestinian lives. They also called for sanctions against Israel and pressed for severing India's diplomatic ties with the state.



The protest witnessed active participation from several district leaders including Mustafa, Abdul Qader, Muhammad Isak Abdul Kareem, and Muhammad Iqbal along with hundreds of party supporters, women, and children, all unified in their stand against Israeli aggression and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
