Coimbatore Journalists Pay Tribute to Deceased Colleague Ajay Joseph

Journalists and photographers gathered outside the Coimbatore District Collectorate to honor the late Ajay Joseph, who died following a traffic accident.

Coimbatore: In a poignant gathering outside the Coimbatore District Collectorate, fellow journalists and photographers paid their respects to Ajay Joseph, a photojournalist for Dinamani newspaper, who passed away on May 29 after succumbing to injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

Ajay, a father of two, was critically injured last Sunday in Pollachi when a stray dog ran across the road causing him to lose control of his vehicle.

Despite immediate medical attention at a private hospital and later at the Coimbatore Government Hospital, Ajay could not survive the severe head injuries. On May 30, his colleagues shared memories of his vibrant presence and simple nature during a silent tribute. Senior journalists emphasized the need for safety while traveling, highlighting the risks faced by reporters in the field.
