IAS Prabhakaran, Corporation Commissioner of Coimbatore, inspected various ongoing development projects in the eastern region today, ensuring quality and speedy completion.
Coimbatore: Today, on May 27, 2024, Coimbatore Corporation Corporation Commissioner IAS M. Sivaguru Prabakaran conducted an inspection tour of various development projects underway in the eastern parts of the city.

During his visit, he specifically observed the construction of a 2.2 km long stormwater drain on Kamarajar Road near the ESI Hospital, valued at Rs. 4.5 crore under the central government fund (CGF) scheme.

Additionally, he scrutinized the 24x7 drinking water project executed by the Suwas organization spanning Masakkalipalayam Road, Lal Bahadur Nagar, and Lakshmipuram. Road refurbishment efforts in Peelamedu Ward No. 24 on Thanneer Pandal Road were also inspected.

Earlier in the day, IAS Prabhakaran evaluated the de-silting activities of sewer systems conducted by the municipal vehicle near the District Collector's office.

He instructed officials to expedite and maintain the standard of the ongoing projects. Assistant Commissioner Kavita, Deputy City Engineer Karuppasamy, Assistant City Engineer Hemalatha, and other municipal officials accompanied him during these inspections.
