Man Arrested for Threatening and Robbing Pedestrian on Brindavan Street, Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, a man was arrested for threatening Karthikeyan with a knife and robbing him of Rs. 500 on Brindavan Street. Police conducted an investigation and arrested Rangaraj from Pudukkottai.


Coimbatore: In a distressing incident that unfolded on Brindavan Street, a man from Chinniyampalayam named Karthikeyan, aged 40, was robbed while walking down the street two days ago.

He was approached by an individual who threatened him with a knife and forcefully took Rs. 500. Following the incident, the Peelamedu police initiated an investigation. The assailant, identified as 28-year-old Rangaraj from Pudukkottai, was apprehended the day before yesterday and has been incarcerated.
