"En Kalluri Kanavu" Guidance Event Conducted in Coimbatore for Adi Dravidar and Tribal Students

Coimbatore District Collector’s office hosted the "En Kalluri Kanavu" event on May 18, led by Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, aiding Adi Dravidar and tribal students on higher education opportunities.


Coimbatore: In an initiative called "En Kalluri Kanavu," a guidance program directed towards enabling higher education for Adi Dravidar and tribal community students, was hosted at the Coimbatore District Collector office. The event, which took place today, aimed to assist students who have completed their 12th standard in selecting suitable academic streams and offered insights into obtaining government educational subsidies.




The gathering was presided over by the District Collector, Kranthi Kumar Pati, and witnessed significant participation from students belonging to the Adi Dravidar and tribal communities of Coimbatore. A series of advice sessions were provided, covering various aspects of college admissions and benefits that students can avail of.




Various officials including the District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer Manimekalai, and the TAICO District Manager Maheswari, were present, providing valuable guidance and counsel to the attendees. These discussions emphasized practical advice on navigating through educational opportunities and leveraging governmental support effectively.
