Judicial Transfers Announced in Coimbatore

In recent updates from Chennai High Court, transfer of several judges within Tamil Nadu has been implemented, affecting positions in Coimbatore, Salem, and several other districts.


Coimbatore: Chennai High Court registrar M. Jothiraman announced significant judicial reassignments on May 9, impacting multiple courts across Tamil Nadu. Special Judge for Commercial Disputes in Coimbatore, Harikaran, has been appointed as the judge for the Coimbatore District Women’s Court. Nandhinidevi, previously the Special Judge for SC/ST cases in Coimbatore, will now serve as the Lok Adalat Judge in Salem.

In similar moves, Judge Pugazhendi of the Tirupur District has been transferred to become the Judge at the Salem District Women’s Court. J. Natarajan, previously serving as the Judge in Tirupur, has been reassigned to Sivagangai District, and Malathi, who served in the Erode District Women's Court, has now been appointed as Additional District Judge in Tiruchengode.

Moreover, Sridharan, who served as the Permanent Judge of the Lok Adalat in Nilgiris, has been transferred to Dharmapuri as Lok Adalat Judge. Sridhar in Ooty has been named Additional District Judge in Tirupur. These reshuffles are part of a broader adjustment involving 78 judges across various districts in Tamil Nadu, facilitating a wide range of judicial responsibilities.
