Coimbatore: A late-night incident in Pongi Ammal Street within Ratinapuri area has captured public attention after a video went viral. On the night of May 3, locals from Dhayari Road and Kakan Street, who reportedly frequent the spot near a residence for consuming cannabis and alcohol, were involved in a quarrel.


A woman came to fetch her husband but was met with aggressive responses from the group, further propelling the conflict. What began as a verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical commotion, involving both men and women hurling stones and sticks at one another, transforming the scene into chaos.




Furthermore, the disturbing footage has now become viral on social media, intensifying local tensions and drawing broader public scrutiny into the escalating violence in the neighborhood.
