Savukku Shankar Injured as Police Vehicle Meets with Accident Near Dharapuram

Savukku Shankar was taken to a private hospital after minor injuries when the police vehicle transporting him met with an accident near Dharapuram. He was arrested early today morning in Theni by Coimbatore Cybercrime and was being transported back to Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: In an unexpected turn of events, Savukku Shankar, who was under police custody, was injured following a vehicular accident.

The incident occurred near Dharapuram as the police vehicle, tasked with transporting Shankar to Coimbatore, was involved in a collision. Shankar sustained minor injuries to his legs and was promptly taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment.





Earlier today morning, social media commentator Savukku Shankar was apprehended by the Coimbatore Cybercrime police unit in Theni. The arrest follows allegations related to Shankar's recent disparaging statements directed at female police officers. Reportedly, these remarks prompted an investigation which culminated in his arrest.





Shankar is currently being transported to Coimbatore, where formal charges will be lodged against him.

The police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the accident.
