Massive Tree Plantation Drive by Kovai Kulangal Padhukaapu Amaippu in Pillaiyarpuram

Kovai Kulangal Padhukaapu Amaippu held a tree planting drive in Pillaiyarpuram, covering 27 acres and planting 1000 saplings. Volunteers of all ages participated to nurture the new saplings.


Coimbatore: In a significant environmental initiative, the Kovai Kulangal Padhukaapu Amaippu hosted a massive tree plantation event in Pillaiyarpuram, Madhukkarai. Spread over 27 acres, the event saw the planting of 1000 saplings. The drive, conducted today, April 28, aims at enhancing green cover and conserving the local ecosystem.




Numerous volunteers from Coimbatore, ranging from the youth to the elderly, enthusiastically joined the event. Together, they planted a variety of tree saplings and engaged in maintenance activities to ensure the planted trees survive and thrive. This communal effort not only aids in ecological conservation but also fosters a sense of community among the participants.
