Coimbatore: DMK members made a court appearance today in connection with a case lodged during a protest against the AIADMK administration on August 27, 2019. The incident took place in front of the South Zone office of the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation. Among those who appeared were prominent DMK figures including Kurichi Prabhakaran, Kuniyamuthur area secretary Loganathan, Gudalur Town Panchayat leader Arivarasu, former area secretary of Kavundampalayam Mathiyalagan, Veerapandi Karthi and CP Nagenthran, alongside senior DMK attorneys. Today’s hearing was conducted at the Coimbatore JM.7 Courthouse, marking a pivotal point in the ongoing legal proceedings related to the governance criticisms voiced during the previous AIADMK regime.
