Jawahirullah Criticizes BJP's Governance and Election Promises in Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, Manithaneya Makkal Katchi leader Jawahirullah challenged the BJP's governance and election promises, expressing strong support for the DMK alliance during a press meet held on April 15.

Coimbatore: During a recent press interaction in Karumbukadai area, Jawahirullah, the leader of the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi, openly criticized the BJP's governance and constitutional policies. “The prevailing dissatisfaction among the Tamil Nadu populace against the BJP's constitution is evident, and there are expectations for a fitting response in the upcoming elections,” Jawahirullah stated.

Highlighting the release of the BJP's election manifesto, which he referred to as more of a 'declaration of sustained challenges' than promises, Jawahirullah also reminded of the BJP's unfulfilled promises from 2014, involving large sums allegedly to be repatriated to Indian bank accounts from foreign black money.

Additionally, he slammed the current internal security policies under the BJP, questioning the seriousness of the measures and their enforceability post-midnight campaign regulations. "Will the alliances in India ignore late-night electioneering by their parties?" asked Jawahirullah, pointing out the legal breaches in election rules past 10 PM.

As elections approach, he urged Coimbatore and Pollachi voters to support the Udayasuryan symbol and emphasized that strict action from the Election Commission is essential for maintaining impartial proceedings. The BJP, according to Jawahirullah, continues to act above the law, misleading the public with impractical promises in their recent manifesto. In contrast, he portrayed the Congress manifesto as actionable and realistic.
