CM MK Stalin Discusses Industrial Growth with Coimbatore Industrialists.

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin met with Coimbatore industrialists and key industry bodies in Tirupur to discuss challenges and growth strategies for industries in Coimbatore. Key environmental projects were also discussed.


Coimbatore: 

Chief Minister MK Stalin of Tamil Nadu convened with top industrialists and industrial body representatives from Coimbatore in Tirupur, discussing the current challenges and strategies for fostering growth and stability in their industries.



The meeting featured prominent industry figures, including Vanitha Mohan, Managing Trustee of Siruthuli, and Vice Chairman of the Kongu Global Forum. 

Topics of discussion included crucial environmental projects such as the desilting of the Siruvani and Pillurdams, improving sewage water treatment facilities in Coimbatore, and increasing the green cover by planting more saplings. A drone survey was also planned to commence immediately at the origin of the Noyyal River to restore its thirty-four rivulets.



Additionally, Chief Minister Stalin met with Nandini Rangaswamy, Chairperson of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Southern Region. And, discussed in detail infrastructure development, updates to industrial policy, and environmental concerns, indicating a robust agenda for regional development.

Dr. TRB Raja, Minister for Industries, was present at both sets of discussions, supporting the dialogue on enhancing industrial and environmental management in the region.

Chief Minister Stalin assured that necessary actions would be implemented swiftly to address these concerns, reinforcing his commitment to industrial and environmental progress in Tamil Nadu.
