Over 150 AIADMK Members from Moolanur Join DMK Under L. Padmanaban's Leadership in Tirupur

In a significant political shift, more than 150 AIADMK members from the 14th Ward of Moolanur Municipality joined DMK in a ceremony led by Tirupur South District Secretary L. Padmanaban, highlighting a wave of change within local politics.


Coimbatore: In a notable political movement, over 150 members and key officials of the AIADMK from the 14th Ward of Moolanur Municipality, have transitioned to the DMK. This significant shift took place in a formal ceremony held at a private marriage hall on the Udumalai Road, near Dharapuram in the Tirupur district.





The event, presided over by Il. Padmanaban, who serves as both the DMK's South District Secretary of Tirupur and the leader of the fourth zone committee, saw the formal induction of these members into the DMK. This gathering also witnessed the participation of Moolanur Municipality Secretary Makkal Thandapani, State Deputy Secretary of the Sports Development Authority Karthik, and Moolanur West Union Secretary Thurai Tamilarasu. Additionally, Deputy Municipal Chairman A. Palanisamy, the sixth ward Secretary Selvaraj, the 14th ward Secretary Kumar, and several other municipality administrators such as Christy, Palani Ramesh, and many more were present.

This mass migration from AIADMK to DMK in Moolanur underscores a changing political landscape, indicating a possible shift in loyalty and ideology among local politicians and party members. The ceremony marks a pivotal moment, signifying a consolidation of support for DMK in the region, particularly under the leadership and influence of Il. Padmanaban.
