DMK Officials Meet in Ganapathy for Electoral Strategy Discussion in Coimbatore North Constituency

DMK officials and members across all levels convened in Ganapathy, near LGB, at CM Marriage Hall on February 24 for a strategy meeting, led by Coimbatore District DMK Secretary Na. Karthik, focusing on outreach and welfare programs.


Coimbatore: A significant gathering of DMK officials, including all booth committee in-charges, BLA-2 members, booth committee members, and all branch members within the Coimbatore North Assembly constituency, took place in Ganapathy, near LGB, at CM Marriage Hall on February 24.





The meeting was presided over by Coimbatore District DMK Secretary Na. Karthik, Ex.MLA, who provided guidance on engaging with the public through doorstep campaigns and celebrating the party leader's birthday through welfare programs.

The meeting saw the participation of all levels of DMK officials, from booth in-charges to BLA-2 members and booth committee members, engaging in discussions to strengthen the party's presence and outreach in the region.



During the assembly, several resolutions were passed, focusing on:

Resolution 1:

Commending the massive success of the initial Coimbatore parliamentary constituency-wide campaign meeting, "Rights Recovery! Stalin's Voice!", inspired by the directives of the DMK leader, the Chief Minister, the Commander. It called for widespread participation from DMK officials, the general public, and social activists in a grand public meeting held at Codissia Grounds, marking a significant victory for the Coimbatore urban district.

Resolution 2:

Following the district secretary meeting held under the leadership of the venerable party leader, the Chief Minister, who is executing golden projects and leading a golden era of governance in Tamil Nadu, it was decided to celebrate the achievements of the Dravidian model government. The meeting resolved to spread awareness about various welfare schemes and developmental works through door-to-door campaigns, starting February 26, 2024, including the Kalaignar Women's Rights Fund, Puthumai Penn Scheme for college girls, morning meal plans for 18 lakh primary students, a Rs. 9,000 crore metro rail project to ease Coimbatore's traffic congestion, and a Rs. 790 crore allocation to resolve Coimbatore's water issues.

Resolution 3:

To commemorate March 1 as Youth Upliftment Day, celebrating the remarkable leadership of the party leader, the Commander, who has dedicated his life to the Tamil community and brought continuous victories for the party from 2019 onwards. The resolution emphasizes organizing public meetings, street corner meetings, blood donation camps, medical camps, tree planting events, and welfare assistance activities across Coimbatore urban district to reinforce the leader's efforts and contributions to society and the party.
